2011 Sony
So we went to see X-Men First Class this weekend and were treated to the new trailer for one of the HOTTEST movies coming out this Christmas– David Fincher’s big-budget remake of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo! Based on the first book of the “Millenium” trilogy by Swedish author Stieg Larsson, this new film stars Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, and based on this teaser trailer it looks all kinds of awesome! Check out the video and you’ll be counting down the days ’til Christmas, too!
See, incredible trailer, right? The visuals, the excellent sense of pacing, and that killer music taking the place of all dialogue– but it got us to thinking, where did that song come from?
OK, we’re not rubes and neither are you– the song itself is obviously “Immigrant Song,” the classic 1970 hit from [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Led Zeppelin[/lastfm]. Zep didn’t do this new version, though, with all the synths and kinda sleazy vocals. So to whom does the credit go?…
