In a genre where groups of any kind are sparse, one of rap music’s longest running and most influential, Wu-Tang Clan, is back at it with a new album titled Legendary Weapons. Set for release on June 28th, it features the hard hitting single “Only The Rugged Survive”.

In 1993, the Wu-Tang Clan established a new model for rap collectives with their seminal album debut Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers). After establishing the Wu as a single entity, the various personalities went their separate ways as solo artists. Since then, it has reunited a number of times to put out albums together.

“Only The Rugged Survive” shows Wu-Tang still at the top of its game. With production from beats master RZA and verses from a cast of core Wu-Tang members, the track is set to be another Shaolin classic.
