Next Week David Banner is traveling to Harvard University to speak to the students and an organization on Violence specifically “The L.A. Riot, Twenty Years later” it is a conference put on by The League of Young Voters!

The conference will be looking back on the LA Riots back in 1992 and focusing on incidents such as the Rodney King beat down and the incidents leading all the way up to the Trayvon Martin Shooting!

When asked by AllHiphop.com about this opportunity Banner explains “I am honored to have the opportunity to speak at Harvard…it is vital that we talk about what we can do to better ourselves and our communities; now and for the next 20 years. The people of America, especially our youth, have the power to be heard; to change legislation and positively impact our culture for generations to come.”

David Banner will also take some time to speak about the 2M1 movement! The 2M1 Movement asks two million people to donate a minimum of $1 towards the project which features ASAP Rocky, Lil’ Wayne, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, Game, and more!
