No Mo! Yankees Lose Star Closer For The Season

One of the Yankees team leaders and all-star closer, Mariano Rivera has just ended his season and possibly his career during a team practice yesterday afternoon.  Rivera, 42, the most successful closer of all time, suffered a torn ACL and a torn meniscus in his right knee after he fell awkwardly to the ground while shagging a fly ball during batting practice before the Yankees’ game with the Kansas City Royals.

This is a sad day for Yankee fans to lose a legendary player to such a freak accident. Check out the video HERE.
