Kendrick Lamar goes platinum for the first time for his single “Swimming Pools”. In 2012 with the release of his debut album “Good Kid, m.A.A.d City” his album went Gold, now in 2013 his second single “Swimming Pools” is certified platinum.”Swimming Pools” topped charts both in the States and overseas, where he is currently touring.

His debut album gained him alot of achievements with album Gold, Single platinum, HipHopDX’s Album of the Year, Readers’ Choice Album of the Year and Emcee of the Year. Check out the song and video below.
