Jenny Boom Boom met up with Miguel backstage at the 55^th annual Grammy Awards.  Although he is nominated for five awards, Miguel told Jenny that the greatest honor is his fan following.

“Just having an audience at this point is more than you can ask for,” he explained. “That’s all you can ever wish for as an artist… whatever medium. You want just people to pay attention to your creativity.  We’ve earned that just working hard and putting out music. I really have my fans to thank. You guys made my journey incredible.”

Miguel also told Jenny that he appreciates all the CT love.

“You have to understand when I first started, stopping in Connecticut, meeting [Jenny] for the first time… Just the coolest, and showing so much love… My beginnings start with you. You are kind of synonymous with my beginnings.”

Miguel continued, “I always get this big kool-aid smile. If you guys can see me I look stupid right now.”
