“It’s natural, there’s nothing really holding it up– it’s an organic thing,” he said of the potential reunion. “[We are] A band of brothers that started this game as teenagers, made a hell of a lot of money… we feel in ourselves little discrepancies. We love the fact that we can get back together on our own regard, because everybody’s their own boss. it’s still Dipset for life.”
While Jones believes that keeping the reunion as organic as possible is critical, he was also quick to point out 2013 marks the tenth anniversary of Dipset’s debut album ‘Diplomatic Immunity,’ and hinted that we’d be seeing more from him alongside Cam’ron, Freekey Zekey and Juelz Santana to celebrate the milestone.
“This year marks the tenth anniversary of ‘Diplomatic Immunity.’ Yes, there will be a lot of surprises this year,” hinted the rapper. “We plan to attack a lot of Summer stages, we plan to attack a lot of venues. We’re good, and you’re gonna love it.”
Not only will fans get to see the Dipset crew back in action, they might just be bringing some new music to the stage. “We have some music,” Jones confirmed. “I can say now, we have some music that’s gonna bust some peoples’ heads open.”
