"What you want from me? I would say 'I'm sorry' if I really meant it."

JoJo’s anticipated return to music will finally take place in mid-October, but she’s giving listeners a taste of her third album today (July 28), with “F— Apologies,” her new single featuring Wiz Khalifa.

It took a lengthy ten years for JoJo to follow up her sophomore album with her latest, Mad Love, thanks to legal issues. If her new single is any indication, though, she’s done with all the run-around and she gives zero f–s. Wiz Khalifa starts off the track, stating, “I ain’t apologizing for s—“; that sets the tone for the rest of song.

JoJo’s lyrics are about a relationship gone wrong, but it’s not a stretch to imagine she’s singing about the situation that kept her on the sidelines for the past decade. “What you want from me?/ I would say ‘I’m sorry’ if I really meant it/ F— apologies/ I would say ‘I’m sorry’ if I really meant it,” she sings on the chorus.

The video also shows off a more adult side to the 25-year-old, who goes skinny dipping for a late night pool scene.

Mad Love drops October 14.
