Jay Z turned 44 with a flurry of activity yesterday (Dec. 4), including going vegan and the release of a new remix for his song “Tom Ford,” which features a verse from the late rapper Pimp C.
Yesterday Jay Z celebrated his 44th birthday, and decided to post on his blog Lifeandtimes.com a couple opinions. One was that him and Beyoncé were both going to go on a 22 days vegan challenge to break a habit and become a true vegan.
Jay let his fans know that he’s going vegan in the name of the 22Days Challenge, a dietary plan started by his friend, exercise physiologist Marco Borges.
The revelation came during a sit-down with music journalist Elliott Wilson backstage at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, where the two chopped it up about hopping on the Yeezus tour and A Tribe Called Quest’s legacy.
Shoppers will need a Jay Z-sized budget to procure the high-end items, which tops out at $58,000 for a Mollino alligator leather jacket. The most affordable item is a $70 graphic print T-shirt featuring gold metallic print.
Jay Z went HAM with his collection at the controversial Barneys store. His collection came out and it is nothing short of amazing, but not for someone on a budget.
Jay Z’s Life + Times announced that Jeezy and DJ Mustard have now joined Roc Nation.
“I am in a unique position to use my voice to affect change to this disturbing issue. The easy position would have been to walk away and leave policy making to others hoping that someone addresses the problem.”
The song will likely be included on the upcoming Timbaland artist album, which the producer recently announced will be called ‘Textbook Timbo’
Timbaland is pulling out some surprises to shake this game awake. The drummer boy is back with another record this time featuring Jay Z & Drake called “Know Bout Me.”
